Presentation at Taylor Wimpey Dukes Quarter of £250 following the Community Vote

On Wednesday 22 August the construction firm Taylor Wimpey handed over a donation of £250 to Woolmer Forest Lions Club. Taylor Wimpey representatives Amy Burrell-Kidd and Elizabeth Blake handed over the donation at the Dukes Quarter showroom, which was a result of their recent Community Vote. Members of the community thought Woolmer Forest Lions deserved the award. WFL will use the money for local good causes.

Bordon Fun Day

The Club would like to thank everyone who attended the Bordon Fun Day on August 11, at the Forest Community Centre. The club looked after the Bouncy Castle ensuring the safety and well-being of the children. A great time was had by all.

Where your Money was Spent During 2017-18

Woolmer Forest Lions Club would like to thank everyone who donated money to the club during the past year. Our treasurer has just released the figures and during 2017-18 the club received £7432 of which we distributed the sum of £6910. Over 80% of the money received went to local projects and deserving local individuals, the remainder went to Lions World Wide causes such as the LCIF Disaster Fund. We couldn't do this without your support, so once again THANK YOU!
