Woolmer Forest Lions Support Bordon Junior School

Lion Richard Balchin presents cheque for £250 to
Bordon Junior School teacher Miss Purkiss
Woolmer Forest Lions Club were delighted to support Bordon Junior School, and presented a cheque for £250 from the Club on 10th January 2017. Lion Richard Balchin, handed over the cheque to Miss Purkiss, one of the teachers at the school.
The money donated by the Club will help cover transport costs for all participants in the forthcoming ROCK CHALLENGE, that will be held in the Portsmouth Guildhall on Wednesday 1st March 2017. This event involves music and drama with a life-skills theme, is open to schools all over the UK. 48 children and 6 members of staff will be attending the Challenge.
Bordon Junior School entered this last year and did very well coming fifth. Woolmer Forest Lions are delighted to support the school and wish them every success in this years competition.
