WFL Vice President John Lewis, Jane Brice, Lion Vic Machin
WFL Lions John Lewis, Nigel Gray, Vic Machin, Pat Payne present the Lions Certificate of Appreciation to Jane Brice
On Friday 25th February 2020, at the Old Diary Coffee Shop in Bordon High St, Woolmer Forest Lions Club presented Jane Brice with the Lions Certificate of Appreciation.
This is in recognition of the £300 donation to the club given by Jane from the sale of second hand books, and we obviously wanted to show our support for Jane and the Old Dairy Coffee Shop for all their wonderful support.
Ukraine Collection
Lions Vic Machin and John Dalton at the Bordon Library collecting for Ukraine
The 2 days collection for Ukraine at the Forest Centre raised £1922. The Club rounded this up to £2,000, and was sent to the LCIF Fund for Ukraine. The club would like to thank the local community for supporting this very worthy cause, and a lot of people really appreciated the Woolmer Forest Lions Club, for organising this collection. Others are planned.
Bordon Food Bank Presentation of £500
Woolmer Forest Lions Club was delighted to hand over a cheque for £500 to the Bordon Food Bank. Heather Ford who runs the Bordon Food Bank thanked the club for its much needed donation.
