Easter Egg Appeal 2016
It is that time of the year again for the Woolmer Forest Lions annual Easter Egg Appeal.
The club is extremely grateful for all the local businesses that support one of the best fund raising events the club undertakes.
We really appreciate the public supporting us so well and they do it every year.
Today 2nd March Vic Machin and Chris Webb handed over one of the Easter Eggs to Ian Hockerday, who runs the 'Flamin Tucker' burger van on the A325. Ian also known as 'Bordon Ramsay' has been at the site for over two and a half years. Ian said we are proud to support the Lions and he invites all his customers to buy a square on the raffle board that costs £1, before they buy a burger. Last year he raised £120 and he hoped that this year's event will be even better!
Last year the money raised from the Easter Egg Appeal was used to support Maddie's Project and this year Woolmer Forest Lions are supporting two Fitzroy Care Homes in Grayshott and Liss. They will be using the money donated to provide sensory equipment for people with learning and physical disabilities
